Rock City FAQs
Here are answers to the questions we get most frequently.
Ticketing FAQs
- Can I change my ticket date and/or time?
- Yes, you may change your date and/or time up to two hours before your scheduled entry time. You can do this online where you purchased your tickets. Due to our dynamic pricing, you may incur an additional charge for any applicable difference between the original price paid and the current price for the new visit time.
- Can I get a refund if we are unable to visit?
- Tickets for Rock City are non-refundable, but can be rescheduled up to two hours before your scheduled visit time. Once your visit time has passed, your tickets cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
- What if you are sold out when I’d like to visit?
- Capacity is limited at the attractions are days do sell-out in advance. We recommend planning ahead and purchasing online to ensure your preferred reservation.
- How do I ensure my family has guaranteed entry on busy days?
- We highly recommend purchasing your Rock City tickets online in advance. By choosing a timed entry slot, you can enjoy peace of mind with guaranteed entry and a smooth start to your family adventure.
- Why are there different prices each day?
- Our pricing adjusts based on demand, similar to how airlines or hotels work. When a date gets more popular, the price may go up. To get the best deal, we always recommend purchasing your tickets at least a day ahead of time.
- I bought my ticket last week and now it’s cheaper. Can I get a refund for the difference?
- Because our prices are dynamic, they can go up or down based on demand. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to adjust pricing retroactively.
- Can I leave and come back the same day with my ticket?
- Yes, Rock City is a different experience between day and night! If you purchase a general admission ticket, you can return that same day anytime unless we have a separately ticketed event happening like our Enchanted Garden of Lights.
- My ticket price changed when I pressed add to cart. Is there an issue?
- Prices are based on capacity and subject to change as tickets are sold. Prices are not confirmed until you proceed to checkout with the ticket in your cart.
- Can I arrive before my scheduled visit time?
- Guests may enter up to 15 minutes prior to their visit time. If you plan to arrive earlier, we suggest adjusting your visit time at least 2 hours before using the link in your email confirmation.
- I am a Passholder, how do I use my Bring-A-Friend Tickets?
- Passholders will login to their account to purchase additional tickets. Passholders will select a member ticket for themselves and then a standard admission ticket for their guest. Once both ticket types are added to the cart, any available Bring-A-Friend entitlement will be applied automatically at checkout. Passholders must be present with the guest using the Bring-A-Friend ticket for entry. Bring-A-Friend tickets must be used during the specified time period and do not roll over.
- Where do I purchase tickets?
- Rock City’s primary website (seerockcity.com), ticketing site (ticketing.seerockcity.com) and our sister property, Chanticleer Inn, are the only authorized online sellers of Rock City tickets. Tickets purchased from other 3rd party sites may be fraudulent. Rock City is not responsible for any tickets purchased from sites other than those listed above.
