For nearly a century, Rock City has invited travelers to take the scenic route. This summer, that iconic detour becomes a season long celebration of creativity, connection, and curiosity – marking America’s 250th anniversary with unforgettable views and distinctly American experiences.
From community made art and mountaintop music to simple, hands on fun and timeless stories, these signature summer moments invite guests to explore Rock City in new and meaningful ways – from first light to twilight glow.

Celebrate a classic roadside icon – reimagined by today’s makers. Where a nearly century‑old roadside invitation gets a fresh coat of imagination, Barns2Birdhouses transforms the iconic SEE ROCK CITY barn into a vibrant collection of one‑of‑a‑kind birdhouse barns.

As daylight lingers and twilight settles over the mountain, Americana Days & Nights brings Rock City to life with music, hands‑on play, and moments of reflection.

Dog Days of Summer marks the start of the season with a special celebration at Rock City.
Kick Off Event: June 20

- Adventure Paws-ports: A summer-long passport for you and your pup. Pick one up before entry, collect a stamp each visit, and after 5 visits, earn a Rock City dog leash. Each visit enters you for a chance to win a Rock City doghouse—winner announced August 9.
